How to Shop at Samara Botane Online

1. Open the Online Store at its opening page, or at one of the individual pages.
2. On the left side is a hierarchical directory showing the categories.  Click on the Desired category.
3. When you are at the desired page, you will see products on the right.  Eventually there will be pictures there for all products.
4. For more information about a product click on the highlighted name.
5. To Add the item to your shopping cart, click on [Add One to Basket]
6. To order only this item and no others, click on [Order One now]
7. You can scroll down the page to find more items.  When you come to the end, click on [Next] to continue.
8. Across the top of the page, there are four choices:  Store Front, Search, Product List, Basket Contents, and Check out.
9. STORE FRONT returns you to the top level page.  From here there is a link to the Samara Botane Home Page.
10. SEARCH allows you to enter a search term and find all products that include it in the Name or description fields.  Then you may select more information by clicking on a button, or order it directly from the list.  For example, if you type "Lavender" in the box, you will get a list of all products that include lavender in the name or description.
11. PRODUCT LIST shows all products in this category in a table form, making it easier to browse.
12. BASKET CONTENTS show a list of the items currently in your Shopping Basket.
13. CHECKOUT goes to the cash register.  You'll see a list of the items you've selected, fill out a form with your name and address, enter your credit card information, and finally send the information to us via our Secure Server.
14. When you enter Checkout, you are given the opportunity to register your name and address information (account information) so that the next time you shop with us you can save time.  To do this, click on "Create New Account".  Otherwise you can shop without creating an account by clicking on "Shop without Creating Account". Or if you have previously registered you can sign in and your information is already there.  If you forget your password you can have it automatically e-mailed to you by checking the box and then submitting the message.  YOU CAN ALWAYS PROCEED BY CLICKING ON "Shop without Creating Account" if you can't remember your password.
15. Shipping Costs:  We charge for shipping based on the amount of your order.  That will be added during the checkout process.  Same with sales tax.  It's calculated once you tell us that you live in Washington.  Out of state orders are not charged tax.  We may reduce the shipping costs based on what you are actually getting--one bottle of an expensive essential oil might exceed the threshold and be charged as much as $20 for shipping--but we will actually charge a much smaller amount based on what it actually costs us to ship the item.
16. If you are a Washington resident, we are supposed to charge sales tax on the shipping charges.  The shopping cart software doesn't support that, so the amount charged may be slightly higher than you expect since we will do your invoice based on the tax regulations.
