Verbascum thapsus, Great Mullein, Aaron's rod. Parts used: Whole plant, leaves, flowers. A bitter, cooling, mucilaginous herb that soothes and lubricates tissues and promotes healing.

Herbal Preparations are as simple as tisanes or teas, made by properly infusing the dried herb in hot water (always pure, most especially free of chlorine.) Your infusion, while best prepared fresh every day, can be stored up to one week in the refrigerator. The unused herbal preparation can be stored for up to one year in a dry cool place with little deterioration of strength.
