Lemon-scented Melissa Hydrosol (also known as Lemon Balm Hydrosol) is light, bitter, slightly more floral in fragrance than the herb or strong essential oil.

Steam distilled from Lemon Balm grown in our garden.

Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is a lemon-scented perennial in the mint Family Lamiaceae that is native to the Mediterranean. It grows to about 2-1/2 feet high and can spread everywhere.
Environmental Spritzer to calm and soothe, excellent for hyperactive children. Clarifying to skin, promotes healing of rash, irritation and eczema, and poison oak or ivy. Use in anti-aging creams and lotions.

Lemon Balm has long been used to banish anxiety, boost memory, and aid sleep and digestion.

It is "good against the biting of venomous beasts, comforts the heart, and driveth away all melancholy and sadnesse," wrote Elizabethan-era herbalist John Gerard in 1597.
