Odor Characteristic: Odor is powerful, strongly diffusive, fresh-terpenic, green-lemon like somewhat reminiscent of green, unripe apples (peel). Depending on the distillation, it can be tenacious sometimes with a pepperiness and sweet-woody, balsamic undertone. Dryout is cistus-like, ambre-balsamic.

Perfumery: Delightful in Citrus colognes where it modifies the sweetness of Bergamot and Orange, hence it finds good use as a modifier. It is an important ingredient in many Oriental bases, Powder type perfumes, Floral and Spice accords. Especially used for masculine or unisex perfumes.
