PICTURES ROB AND I TOOK ON A TRIP TO SNOWMASS CO IN NOVEMBER 1999

Traditional American Indian tribes revere the Artemisias.  Herbalists believe that plants in abundance are those that serve us the best.  This belief (and the consequential reality) promotes a consciousness of abundance and relief from the constrictions of the opposite consciousness, that of feeling bereft.  We are only beginning to revive ancient spiritual knowledge while we continue to explore modern phytochemistry to better understand the importance of the Artemisias in herbalism and to the art of aromatherapy.  How many of us drive past them on the freeways every day, ignorant of their wonders?

I believe the Artemisia is

Artemisia tridentata: Great Basin Sagebrush

I have no idea what the red-barked trees are.  I have to research this.  Just a lovely soft image - here for the visual art.
